Are your leads scrubbed against the Do Not Call list? 

Each month, our leads are scrubbed against the FTC and State Attorney General Do Not Call lists. All consumer sales leads with phone numbers are privacy-compliant at the time of purchase. Over time, people may add themselves to the Do Not Call list, and it is ultimately the client's responsibility to remove these names before calling. To learn who has added himself or herself to the Do Not Call list, you should register for a Subscription Account Number (SAN#).

Are your leads privacy-compliant? What steps does USADATA take to protect Consumer privacy? 

USADATA takes the privacy of the consumer very seriously. Each of the third-party compilers and managers we work with have their files go through monthly hygiene processes including but not limited to:

- NCOA (National Change of Address)
- Direct Marketing Association's Do Not Mail file scrubbing
- FTC & State Attorney General Do Not Call file scrubbing
- Deceased scrubbing
- Prison scrubbing

If you send your mail campaign out within 30 days of the time your order is placed, you should expect the following delivery rates:

If you call the contacts on your targeted prospect list within 30 days of the time your order is placed, you should expect the following phone accuracy rates:

Do I need to register to run a list count or receive a quote?

What is the difference between Consumer Lists and Occupant Lists? 

Consumer lists allow you to use demographic and psychographic filters to reach your best prospects, and they are addressed to a specific individual within the household. Occupant Lists are addressed to the ‘Current Resident' and are appropriate when you want to reach or saturate every household within a geographic area without using demographic filters.

How long does it take to get my list? 

Lists are delivered within 24 hours, typically within 30 minutes during regular business hours (9 am—6 pm EST). After completing your order online, you will receive an order confirmation email with your order ID. This is your receipt. Shortly after, you will receive a second email, the order fulfillment email, containing the links to download your list.

Yes, we recommend saving your quotes, counts, and searches. Within the order flow, click the “Save Search” button. Complete a short form, and you'll immediately receive an email with your free quote, plus a link to retrieve your count so you can always pick up where you left off.

What is the difference between single-use versus multiple-use? 

A one-time use of our mailing lists means you may only use the list one time. With unlimited use, you may use the direct mailing list as many times as you like for one year. After one year, you may continue marketing to anyone who responded to your campaign or became your client. Those individuals, however, who never responded to your campaign, you may no longer contact. To contact those individuals after one year, you must re-order the list. We recommend you do this anyway because, over the year, the list will change. Some of these changes are due to NCOA updates, while others may have asked not to be contacted. Fresh leads will furthermore become available. To maximize the deliverability of your lead generation campaign, you must use the freshest available list.

Please note that with Occupant Lists, you may only order for one-time or two-time use of the list.

Yes, USADATA can supply printed mailing labels. The cost will be added to your order. Within the online order process, you check the box and choose the number of required printed labels. Please inform your Data Specialist that you need printed mailing labels for phone orders.

Pricing

How much do your mailing lists and sales leads cost?  

The price of the targeted prospect list depends on the categories you use to compose it, the quantity of prospects you desire, and how many times you plan to use it. Please see our pricing chart (which reflects the price for a one-time use of the mailing list, i.e., you can use the list only once).

What is the minimum order? 

The minimum cost for all online orders, including discounts, is $50.00, and the minimum fee for all offline orders is $100.00.

What is your return policy? What if I receive mail that is higher than the expected amount? 

Orders may be canceled within five business days with a cancellation fee of $5 per 1000 names, with a $25 minimum. They may not be canceled after five business days.

Hold onto all returned mail pieces. Provided that your mailing consists of at least 500 pieces and is mailed out within 30 days of your order, USADATA will refund you for the price of the name and half the postage for each returned piece above the guaranteed delivery rate. We reserve the right to ask you to ship us the returned pieces (at our expense) before a credit is issued.

Is there a monthly fee for using your website? 

No, there is never a monthly fee or subscription fee to use our website. With USADATA, you may run list counts and obtain quotes as often as needed without any cost or charge.

We offer email marketing. We do not provide email lists. Our service will send your design email directly to your consumer or business target audience. We are CAN-SPAM compliant and use opt-in email addresses only.

What is a Subscription Account Number (SAN#)? Why do I need one? How do I get one? 

If you are using our specialty telemarketing lists to contact consumers, it is your responsibility to remove individuals who appear on the Do Not Call list before calling them. If you do not do this, you risk the possibility of a fine for each person contacted who is currently on this list. To find out who is on the Do Not Call List, you must register for a Subscription Account Number (SAN#). Registration is free for up to five area codes.

Here are step-by-step instructions for obtaining a SAN#. This process should take 5 minutes.

- Start Here
- Scroll down and complete both the Organization Information and Authorized Representative forms. Then click Submit.
- Write down or print out your Organization ID and passwords.
- At the left side of the screen, click Manage/Renew Subscriptions.
- Enter your Organization ID and Password. Choose the Representative radio button. Click Log In.
- Complete this additional form in its entirety. You must specify the area codes or geographic areas you wish to register for. After completing this form, you will receive your Subscription Account Number (SAN#). Please print this out for your records.

* If you are placing a telemarketing list order for consumers with USADATA, you may be required to provide a SAN#.

Are there exceptions to these rules? Yes. Some companies are exempt from Do Not Call legislation. To learn more, please visit the FTC website.

What are my responsibilities as a marketer? 

As a USADATA client, you are bound by the terms of the Data Use Agreement. You should ethically use the list, and should someone ask you to remove them from your list/database, you must abide by their wishes and refrain from contacting them. How do I remove my name from your list? 

Suppose you wish to receive unsolicited mail no longer. In that case, we recommend you contact the Direct Marketing Association's Mail Preference Service, the official mail preference service for the Direct Marketing and Catalog communities. You can complete a form here, and your name will be removed from thousands of databases simultaneously. Each month, list providers scrub their database against this file to ensure they respect privacy.

Please email us your name and complete address to remove your name from our direct mailing lists. We will add you to our suppression file and not rent your name to any other client.
